Privacy Policy — Anti-Impulse Wishlist

This policy explains what data Anti-Impulse Wishlist (“the App”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. This document is the canonical version — the App Store listing links to the hosted version of this same text.

1. Who we are

Anti-Impulse Wishlist is operated by Egy Adhitama (“we”, “us”). Contact: egyadhitama@gmail.com.

2. Summary (plain English)

• The App does not sell your data.
• The App does not show ads and does not use advertising identifiers.
• Your wishlist items, prices, and progress stats live on your device only. They are never synced to a server.
• The App does not collect analytics or crash reports.
• The only network activity is opening retailer links you tap yourself.

3. Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally in AsyncStorage on your device:

• The items you add: name, price, URL, trigger tag, cooling deadline.
• Your stats: total dismissed, total saved, money saved, streak, rank.
• App settings: savings goal, currency, notification preferences, onboarding completion flag, privacy consent flags.
• A schema version number used for local upgrades.

None of this data ever leaves your device.

You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Reset Data.

4. Permissions we ask for

• Notifications — optional. Used only to remind you when a cooling item is ready for review. Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device; no server is involved. You can revoke this at any time from your OS Settings.

We do not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, photo library, Bluetooth, or background location.

5. Share Sheet (iOS)

If you share a product URL to the App from another app (e.g. Safari, a shopping app), the URL is read on-device and pre-filled into the Add Item form. This URL is never transmitted anywhere — it stays on your device.

6. Retailer links

When you tap a “Buy” link on an item, your device opens that URL in your default browser. At that point the retailer’s own privacy policy applies. The App does not track whether or where you shop.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

8. Data retention and deletion

Local data is retained until you delete it (Settings → Reset Data) or uninstall the App. Because we never receive your data, we have nothing to delete on our end.

9. Your choices

• You can decline notifications permission at any time.
• You can wipe all local data from Settings → Reset Data.

10. Changes to this policy

We’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top whenever this policy materially changes. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
