Terms of Service — Petra: Pet Tracker

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Petra (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of Petra, including free tier users and Petra Pro subscribers.

Petra is a pet tracker application that allows you to:

You must be at least 13 years old to use Petra. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s consent.


4. User Accounts & Data

Petra does not currently require account creation. All your pet data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your device’s security and for any data you enter into the App.


5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases (Petra Pro)

5.2 Billing & Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

5.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time via Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Pro access until then.

5.4 Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple’s refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit Apple’s Report a Problem page.

5.5 Free Tier Limits

Free users may add up to 2 pets and 10 weight records per pet. These limits may change over time, with notice provided in the App.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated through the App Store and will take effect at your next renewal period.

All content, design, graphics, and code within Petra are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

Your pet data (photos, names, records) remains yours. By entering it into the App, you grant no licence to us — it stays on your device.


8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Petra is a personal organisational tool, not a medical or veterinary service. Nothing in the App constitutes professional veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns about your pet.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.


11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App or your access to it at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.


12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
